Bungro Elementary School provides education for the children who live in catchment barangays Tanquigan, a part of Sevilla, Pagdalagan and Carmay.

The late Miss Felicitas R. Antolin became the first teacher and Teacher

 In-Charge year 1942-1977.  She was succeeded by Miss Amparo Sanglay Teacher In-Charge (1978-1983), Mrs. Felicisima G. Somera Head Teacher (1983-1988),

 Mr. Cezar Flores Head Teacher (1988– 1990), Mrs.Teresita Flores, Head Teacher (1991-1995), Mrs. Merlina M. Halog,  Head Teacher (1996-2000), Miss Rosa Casuga Principal (2000-2005), Mrs. Perlita F. Abat Teacher  In-Charge (2006),

 Mrs. Alma G. Sandaga Teacher In-Charge (2006-2011), Miss Ruth P. Paragas Principal (2011-2013) and Mrs. Jufoten Gina S. Flor Principal (2013-2016).

The ceremonial transfer of the key of responsibility by Mrs. Jufoten Gina S. Flor  to Mrs. Elizabeth G. Gurtiza was made last  July 18, 2016. Administered by Mr. Anthony Rimas , the Administrative Officer V  and  Dr. Jose  Mari P. Almeida , Education Program Supervisor and School Monitoring  Supervisor.

          Mrs. Elizabeth Gurtiza served as Principal from July 18, 2016 to May 31, 2020. The responsibilities and obligations as School Head were passed to Mrs. Guadalope Sobrepeña last June 01, 2020.
