ENROLMENT

The school serves as a center for education in the community with an enrolment of 250 learners.  It consists of 8 teachers, ensuring a favorable student-to-teacher ratio for effective learning. Complementing the teaching staff are 1 teaching-related personnel and 2 non-teaching-related personnel, contributing to the overall administrative and support functions of the school. This collaborative effort among educators and support staff underscores the school’s commitment to fostering a conducive and enriching environment for the holistic development of its learners. Based on the data from EBEIS, the total enrolment of Bungro Elementary School as of August 2024 is 246. It is higher (by 37 pupils) than the enrolment (209) in the previous School Year 2023-2024. It is the second-highest number of enrolments as compared to the past three years. For the past three years, it can be noted that the enrolment is fluctuating yet very close as shown in the table. Out of 246 enrolled pupils, 127 are male and 119 females. Grade 3 has the highest number of enrolments (44). Whereas, Grade 2 has the least number of enrollees (24). On attendance, the total number of children who were frequently absent during School Year 2022-2023 is only 3%. Most of them were affected by family problems such as financial and family relationships aside from change of residence and child labor. As of the present school year enrolment, Bungro Elementary School still have a higher rate of enrolment. The following data shows the enrollment from 2021 up to the present:
